Rozhina Rastgoo is a painter and videoartist deeply influenced by Iranian Literature in her works, especially by CariKalmator which is a mixture of caricature (cari) and words (Kalameh). The lightness of Carikalamator and the easy humour in depicting subjects in a playful manner of dragging the imagination have led her to grow in her format. In her Paintings, a creatures wear armour in bed in an Intime situation, or when little colourful socks come out of the blanket, the viewer never has enough information to figure out to whom it belongs to. | . Having lived in Berlin already half of her lifetime, Rozhina has learnt to grow her roots everywhere she goes, carrying the culture and the behaviour of places with her and in her word.
